Ice-cubes!

Ice-Cubes and a Staring Contest!

This dog is so obsessed with water that her favorite treat is an ice-cube...You could put a steak in front of her face, but she would go for anything made of water first....plain water, watermelon, ice-cubes, drinks mixed with water, etc...She especially is obsessed with the ice maker from the fridge. Every time I go to get ice for my drink I always make sure to get one ice-cube for Lilly. Otherwise there is always a chance that she will deliberately pee somewhere in the house to act out because she did not get one.

We have been getting our flooring done because the previous owners of our house ran a doggy daycare, had cats, and who knows how many dogs that they actually owned. When the flooring installer rolled up the carpet I was not surprised that every single inch of the carpet pad was filled with pee stains. Lilly was at doggy daycare because of this.

Normally we do not to send her to doggy daycare because she has a risk of seizures, but she needed to stay there for three days and two nights because of the treatments that needed to be done to the floors. Thankfully Lilly came back without having any seizures! Whenever she comes back from daycare Lilly pees a profuse amount because of how much water she indulges in.

Lilly also starts a staring contest with me. Her anxiety is so high that she needs to know where I am as much as possible. So, she follows me around to stare at me all day. She will finally pass out in her chair after I sit on the couch for a while. Then when she wakes up...there she is again...staring at me!

Please don't mind the mess...The furniture is all scrunched together so that the trim can be put back on, but here she is...staring at me...
